Your journey begins early in the morning as we depart bustling Marrakech and head south across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and photo stops of traditional Berber villages perched on hillsides.
We stop to explore the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a backdrop for famous films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. After lunch, continue through Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” and pass through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest oasis lined with palm trees and ancient kasbahs.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Zagora, where your camel caravan awaits. Enjoy a gentle ride into the dunes at sunset, then arrive at your traditional desert camp. Savor a Moroccan dinner, relax around the campfire with Berber music, and sleep under a blanket of stars in your desert tent.
Wake early to witness a peaceful sunrise over the dunes—a moment you’ll never forget. After breakfast, we return by camel to meet the driver and begin the scenic journey back to Marrakech.
En route, we stop again in Ouarzazate for optional visits (like the Atlas Film Studios or Taourirt Kasbah), before crossing the Atlas Mountains and arriving back in the city by evening, filled with unforgettable memories of the Moroccan Sahara.
